AotDSoD 8

This takes us back to the Rayon/Nessah debate. (I shouldn't have brought that up, should I?)

AotDSoD 6

I only got six hours of sleep last night, I'm eating waffles with a teaspoon, I'm pretty sure our beagle/Labrador mix is hung over, I lived through finals, and now I'm trying to figure out how to start the next S & E chapter.

It must be Tuesday.

"No, I didn't hear that... it was probably just the wind whispering through the trees."
"DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM"
"Still the wind. I'm sure of it."

AotDSoD 5

It is getting really annoying to draw trees.

AotDSoD 4

Remember... Rayon's powers allow him to fall (or in this case, jump) off of anything and land without injury.

AotDSoD 3

The first of many socks the snowman will end up giving Rayon. After all, it's important to keep one's feet warm during these cold months.

AotDSoD 1

As promised, here are the first and second pages of Attack of the Deadly Snowmen of Doom. (No. I didn't almost forget to update, I swear!)

And no. I am not listening to Christmas music, either.

Surprise!

Guess what, dear readers! I have started on another graphic novel! The above is the cover page for the next one. As you can tell, I am experimenting with a new format.

Since this is a very laid-back graphic novel, update days may change. Your best bet to see the pages is to check here on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends.

This graphic novel will have appearances from (hopefully) all of the Magical World Warriors, found on this list here.

I can't wait. ^^

Summary of the Past Few Days

I might be going insane. I'm not sure yet.

But I did lose the Game again.

A Big Thanks

I was browsing the NaNoWriMo site when I came across this. It is a blog post by the OLL for Chris Baty, who will be leaving the NaNoUniverse to try to accomplish a professional writing career. You're probably wondering what's so special about that. Well, Chris Baty is the one who started NaNoWriMo in 1999. Without him, there would be no NaNoWriMo.

So, I would like to write a blog post thanking NaNoWriMo (and Chris B. of course) for the wonderful program. Let me start with 2010, my first NaNoWriMo.

Before NaNo, I was just tinkering around with Microsoft Word. I had a full writing world by that point, but no giant novels with just one plot (versus a giant novel full of short stories). I still dreamed, though. I dreamed about writing a giant novel with just one plot. The Magical World Warriors could star in it together, and it would be over 100 pages long.

I tried repeatedly to write this novel, but it didn't work. Until I found NaNoWriMo. Suddenly, a whole new world of opportunities was opened for me. I jumped into November 2010 with both feet. I didn't think I would win, to be honest. I was just doing it for the fun of it, and if I didn't win, I didn't win.

I won in thirteen days with 53,100 words.

I won in JulyNoWriMo with 51k in fifteen days.

I won again in AugustNoWriMo with 51k in another fifteen days.

And, I won again in November 2011 with 56k in seven days.

So, thank you, NaNo, and thank you, Chris Baty. You've made a ton possible for me that I never thought I'd be able to do. Have fun with your writing career and llamas!

The End of Winter Break

Today, readers, is the first day back to school after winter break. NaNoWriMo, Christmas, and New Year's are all over. Now we go into the cold months with snow on the ground and icy roads, bleary mornings, and midterms/finals.

However. Despite how bleak the situation may appear... we must try to live through these next few months. January, February, and then the insanity that comes with March, and then Frg's birthday on April 1st. After that we should be okay.

In the meantime, let's hope for more days that start like this.

End of random post.
